ORDER CANCELLATION

Orders may not be cancelled once Old CottageTM has confirmed production has started. The onus is on the client to ensure all measurements and order details are correct on order. 

 

RETURNS POLICY
You have 6 months to return faulty or defective goods from the date of delivery or collection. A thorough inspection should be made of goods delivered upon receipt.

If you are not happy with your furniture item, due to faults or defects, we will arrange an assessment of the item/s in question. As all furniture is handcrafted, minor colour variations shall not be considered a defect. If our quality assurance team finds that the goods are defective or that there are quality issues, a return will be generated by our contact centre, or your goods will be replaced or repaired at the company’s discretion.

Our contact centre will arrange the collection date and time for your returned furniture. If we discover in our assessment that you have not followed the care instructions, the goods are not defective or not affected by quality issues, you will not be entitled to a refund, repair or exchange of these goods, and the cost of collection shall revert to you. 

HOW TO RETURN
Contact us on admin@oldcottage.co.za and we will arrange a collection within 3 to 5 working days. Once the items have been received and assessed at our factory your refund will be generated. In the event that no fault is found, client will be liable for collection fee.

 

REFUNDS
If you purchased the goods yourself and meet all the refund requirements, you will receive a full refund. If you received the goods as a gift, or if you do not have the invoice, we may use our discretion to allow you to exchange the goods for goods of the same value (you will not receive the balance if you exchange the goods for other goods of a lower value).

FAULTY GOODS
Returns or exchanges on faulty or defective goods will be accepted up to 30 days after purchase, provided that the goods have been used for their intended purpose and they have been cared for according to any instructions that accompanied the goods.

COLOUR VARIATIONS

Colour variations may occur should furniture be purchased on different dates, due to the nature of the manufacturing process. As such, minor colour variations shall not be considered a defect.
